let's not knock the BCB cup choices.

it's the voting that's tarnished this year's cup.

This Cup would have been more pristine if Griff didn't actually post the lists. Pearls before swine.

it's BCB's shop window. we must take responsibility.

the BCB comfort zone is taking a grip, and we should all be taking a look at ourselves.

Griff should just decide who the winner is, then tell everyone. I don't even want to see the winning list - a vague description of it will do.

I won! Thank you all for not looking at my list. All I can say is, it truly was a great list and one that would have made you all proud. There were songs on it. Good songs!

Okay, I'm just going over the lists and am hoping to announce a winner by 8pm, GMT. I'm doing rather well so far! :P

It's true - Harvey won the Canadian heat. :(

He now goes on to play against people from real countries where the vast majority of competitors aren't actually moose and do have record collections.

Good luck with that, Harv!

Special consideration should be given to the expansion teams.

I'll be rubbing sand on my skin all weekend in an attempt to toughen it up.
Oh boy is it getting rough, when my old world charm isn't quite enough.

I'm going one step further and not even submitting an actual list of songs, just vague concepts of emotions and feelings.

I hope you all are ready to learn a second language: the language of DEFEAT!
You'd pay big bucks to know what you really think.

you absolved responsibilty by being absent when the ties were being discussed. You let your east end pykey nature take hold and absolved responsibility. Not good enough.

In a surprise finish, my list knocks Griff"s out and I win. Thank you all, enjoy Another Girl Another Planet!

Oh and from now on, if my list wins, I think maybe I should vote for the crappier of the two lists in the other matches... guaranteeing me a victory... I can't believe that I'm the first person who's thought of this!

You aren't. 49 people clearly had the same idea in Match 10!!
