PLEASE NOTE: VOTE 1 HAS BEEN AMENDED, REPLACING "IMPOSTERS" WITH "CUNTING IMPOSTER KNOBS." APOLOGIES FOR THE MIX UP. HEIFER
Holy fuck. Quarter final 1 take notice, this is how you make a proper quarter final list.

Jesus, they're both fucking good. I'm going to have to go A because of their earlier choices. I'm terribly sorry B for your luck, you would've flogged those 2 cunting imposter knobs in QF 1.

These are great lists!

I pick B by a very narrow margin, possibly because it has Dreaming. What a wonderful song that is!

The M.I.A. track on list one is a bit obvious, tho', the one that pop fans fall for first in the album.

Stoned Soul Picnic is lovely, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Some great stuff on B, no question, but I'm going to have to stay loyal to A

Both are strong here, and again it's not an easy decision to make but I think A snatches it for me. B has a visceral air I quite like and some fine choices, with Coltrane a standout, and a lesser but still splendid Go-Betweens song, but there are a couple too many overrated indie bores there. A has a couple of flaws, like the dull, grating MIA, but it has more surprises and is perhaps more adventurous. It never really reaches the heights that B does, but it wins out by virtue of consistency. Again, though, a difficult call to make.

Pretty close one but an excellent new five from A tip the balance.

The closest match-up yet and I really think it could've gone either way, but I really like the mix of languid and visceral that B's conjured up in this round, though A would be the more 'fun' list. Either way, both deserve to go through, but unfortunately there can B only one. Sorry A :-(

I'm actually pleasantry suprised to see a number of Laura Nyro selections this year. 3 I think. I would have picked one had I made it through the first round - probably Gibsom Street or Christmas In My Soul.

Oh wow it was easily A until I saw B's latest 5. Those are five tracks which go flying straight into the stanction.
