A is still too hard to ignore, I particularly like the new Devo choice.

Do you guys all just listen to the one Boards Of Canada song, though?

Another coin-toss this one, so once again Laurent Garnier proves to be the difference.

I really like both of these lists (and I'd say that even if I didn't know whose they were...) and it'll be disappointing to see one of them go out at this stage. But hey, them's the breaks, as I believe they occasionally say on TV.
This could be the moment when A's slightly stuffy first ten comes back to haunt it, although the only bollock I can see dropped is The Doors. Some great selections, though, with an underappreciated Magazine song, that sinuous Bowie number and the right Gun Club effort.
B is less familiar, with only about half the songs known to me, but I like those I know and the general feel of the list is very exciting - if I was given a compilation with this tracklisting I'd spin it very eagerly. It just looks cool. No obvious clunkers, and it is the kind of list that really makes me want to investigate the songs I don't know - and provides me with an opportunity to do just that, in places.
So, I will check out the youtube and sendspace tracks, and then make a more informed decision on this one. Like I said, two fine lists, very tough to call.

Both "She Is Beyond Good and Evil" and "Weekender" are inspired choices, I have to say, and wouldn't look out of place on either list.

Although I'm pretty sure "A" hates The Pop Group...

End of the road for B here though it rallies brilliantly with "The Law Of The Land". Principles will only get you so far in the cup -you've got to throw some sweeteners in occasionally. And A gets sweeter every round.

'Always Crashing In The Same Car' - Bowie
'Weekender' - Flowered Up
'Girl U Want' - Devo

I like the way A's getting lighter on its feet with each round, and those are top Sam & Dave and Devo choices, while the Bowie one is a favourite of mine- mournful, wracked with self-doubt but oddly elusive and enigmatic.

A here!
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Looks like I'm voting against the tide here, but after listening to a few of the songs I didn't know, I'm going with B. Apologies to A - it looks like you don't need my vote anyway - but B is a fascinating, effortlessly cool mix with some really intriguing stuff. I like it.

No contest A destroys B, A has 12 excellent tracks, whereas it quite difficult to find anything of merit in Bs list, There are 11 acts that would have got the nod if he chosen better songs, but the only Voodoo Chile floats my boat, got to getthat candy and teh Kisses track though.

You can take what Penk said verbatim and put the words in my mouth.

I went out to A, and it is comfortably the better list here.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Weekender here. Who'd have thunk it?
