They're both pretty damn good, but B's latest five are undeniable.
Early Michael Jackson is a no-brainer for the final rounds.

Neither list quite manages to inspire me but B manages to persuade me to give it a vote for being slightly more to my taste with REM, The Stooges and VU.

This matchup is problematic for me. Both lists have a roughly equal number of songs that I simply dislike, frankly.

But the goodies on B are a lot stronger than those on A, I think.
You'd pay big bucks to know what you really think.

I like the maddening messiness of B, y'know? I mean, it was pretty nifty before, but this time around, it's included a couple of choices I've put into the cup before for its recent 5, and you can't go wrong with any list that includes Stooges, "Under Mi Sleng Teng," "Temptation," James Brown...

B, but plenty of lists already eliminated are better than either.

Both pretty good lists in a BCB Cup quarter-finals kinda way. It comes down to a battle of the classic soul big-hitters for me and A just has a couple more than B.

Oh dear. Voting fatigue? B barely puts a foot wrong, apart from being a little bit slight. It could do with a power ballad or something.

Looking at both lists it seemed pretty even. Upon applying a track by track score system howver it resulted in a comfortable win for A

At his stage of the competition there doesn't seem to be a lot to choose between any of the lists for me - they are all a mixture of songs i like and lots of songs i haven't heard.

There's nothing in it here - A by a bee's cock.
