Certainly lots to like on B, but A's followed a solid opening ten with marvellous additions. (I think I must have missed this list in the previous round.)

The Jimmy Broon, Supremes, New Order and Fall choices in particular are unimpeachable.

It has to be A.

A's last 10 is a real improvement on its first 10, wheras, handily, B's is the other way round. Pretty uneven all round really so it comes to the best in each. A - Clash,Supremes,James Brown,New Order,Prince and Stooges vs B - Buckley,Spirit,Byrds,Flaming Lips,Love,Talking Heads. Could make a great list out of that lot but instead B by a tiny margin

I like a few tracks from each list, but A would be more fun to actually listen to...
You'd pay big bucks to know what you really think.

A is more consistent.

Nip and tuck, this one, until A eventually pulled away, a 30 - 22 winner.

B was Oscar.

An exciting match but in the end common sense had to prevail. There are only 22 people involved in this competition with a glint of taste and sophistication but there are at least 30 who bumble about scratching their bollocks looking for something that was on radio 1 this afternoon - and at least 6 of them are Gradual aliases. But I'm not bitter. It gave me an opprtunity to educate the brainless and my first match allowed me to expose Gradual’s bag of pretentious shite for the affected, pseudo-intellectual pomposity that it was.

Congratulations to the victor of this match. I'm greatly impressed. Considering how shit their list was.

The only travesty here was that mine wasn't the casting vote. Poor old Oscar will have to drown his sorrows with a scotch egg and a small light and bitter in a girlie glass, the big poof.

You can take some consolation that your "kiss of death" diatribe may well have influenced the gullible donkeys that voted for list "A". I mean look at them. Feeble-minded sheep, one and all.
