Two absolute gold-plated lists that I'd go for straight away against many others. In the end I had to delete the songs which weren't woven into the fabric of my life and this is what I ended up with:

A:

Modest Mouse - Float On
Billy Bragg - Levi Stubbs' Tears
David Bowie - Always Crashing in the Same Car
The Kinks - Autumn Almanac
Screamin Jay Hawkins - I Put a Spell on You
Bob and Earl - Harlem Shuffle

B:

I've Been Lonely (For So Long) - Frederick Knight
Living For The City - Stevie Wonder
A Message To You Rudy - The Specials
The Payback - James Brown
Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me) - The Temptations
Good Year For The Roses - George Jones
Psycho Killer - Talking Heads

Combine those songs and pare it down a bit and it could easily be my Cup entry next year.

Hard luck on A but it's just about *B*

I've already honoured A's wonderful additions in the tie-break match, but B's are just as good! :|

Shit!

It's tough, but I'll stay with A

A's new 5 are so much better than the 5 on B's list that they lift the whole damn thing. A

Two great lists, in my oh so very humble opinion - I thought it would be closer - but B wins this one quite comfortably, 18 - 30.

A was Sweet Black Angel.
