Byrds,Rotary Connection and Kendricks apart ,A isnt really yelling like me is it? It certainly avoids the obvious and shows the authors specialist taste for the unlovable (the Meshuggah and Laibach are probably some macabre joke i dont want to be let in on) but the prescence of true giants (Nyro, Walker, Brown) with non-cannon song choices suggests real refinement. B suffers in comparison with this bravery. Songs which seemed good enough in the first round seem a little too eager to please here, and despite having the best song in either list (Gene Clark) it looks a little boring, holds no surprises. I never want to hear some of A ever again but i look forward to the next five

I probably own more of B, but I'd rather spend time with A. One of my favourite Byrds songs, Axelrod, Scott, JB, Rotary, Wire... definitely coming from the right place and definitely Cup cool.

B for the bit in 'What's Happening Brother' when Marvin sings 'Tell me friend, how in the world have you been'

From what I can tell, A is cool but it just doesn't have a moment which resounds in me like that.

I really liked A's first 10, but they went inward instead of outward. The Laibach and Meschuggah tracks? Wrongsville, methinks.

I like B's next five pretty well.

I made a similar, (probably more subconscious) mistake earlier and someone made an crack about it based on a completely false assumption (which led them to further bad conclusions).
I'm not holding it against anyone. I never look at track names and frequently don't know the names of songs.
Then again, though I really like that Byrds track and didn't vote for A.
