Some good choices on A, but it has to be B for me.

Stevie Wonder - Uptight (Everything's Alright)
Sly & The Family Stone - Jane Is A Groupee
Panda Bear - Take Pills
LCD Soundsystem - Losing My Edge
Super Furry Animals - Hermann Lvs Pauline
Pulp - Do You Remember The First Time?
Kinks - Village Green Preservation Society
Buzzcocks - Orgasm Addict
Wire - Ex Lion Tamer
Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy
Boards Of Canada - Roygbiv
Donna Summer - I Feel Love
Gang Of Four - At Home He's A Tourist
Pavement - Summer Babe
Bob Dylan & The Band - Goin' To Acapulco

This is pure class. It's got songs on it that I like more than certain things on my own list. Really top bollocks on 'Goin' To Acapulco'.

B

A was good too and might have got my vote in a few other of the second round ties so far.

A has a good list particularly with the Shins and Talking Heads tracks but B has much more that I like: Stevie, The Kinks, Panda Bear and Pavement in particular.
