I can't say I enjoyed the voting period much for my tie. It felt like watching a game where your team has taken an early lead and spends the next eighty minutes slenderly hanging on as the opposition mount wave after wave of attack. I was bloody relieved when the deadline appeared. It's much more fun when your selection isn't involved.
On a secondary question, how good are you at guessing how people will vote? I predicted about 90% of mine I'd say, it's funny after a while how predictable eveyone's voting becomes.

Nice new angle Moddy! Rather than the voters picking on the predictability of the lists, you've turned it 180 to whinge about the predictability of the voters. That's one in the eye for anyone who says nothing changes in the Cup year after year!

It wasn't a whinge honestly! Simply an observation. I can predict how people will vote more often than not.

Yeah, me too: apart from the enlightened few the cloth-eared philistines will vote against me.

I think he wants to know whether he should make medals for us (the word "strike" just comes naturally to a northerner) or instead to make them for the top of the mountain. Just humour him and he'll stumble off with his can of special brew and hassle someone else.

Can I just say, as someone still in the hunt, that I am dying to win this?

As far as I can tell, it's much better to post abunch of stuff you've been obsessed by, and then deal with the consequences, rather than second guess "The Academy"*

Who are, frankly, a bunch of cloth eared pillocks.**
