AAAAA

the macca thing was cute the first time, but it is just a gimmick.

'A' displays truly poor taste on at least two of the tracks...
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

The thing is some of the people on A's list can't help being shit whereas Macca is a great talent pissed away.

so what? just 'cause he's a freaking national treasure and you feel betrayed?

bah!

have you heard dreamweaver?
and the sentiment behind some of those others is just loathesome to me.

There's a couple of London Town tunes I quite like in B.

B. I actually did hear Dreamweaver today on the radio, I mean, it isn't the greatest song in the world, but it's a darn side better than all that awful Macca garbage. And I'll repeat that "mmm mmm mmm mmm" is a wonderful song.

I actually like these OK  :

mm mm mm mmm - crash test dummies
lady of spain - lawrence welk
knock on wood (disco version) - amii stewart
believe - cher
dreamweaver - gary wright

and this:

walk the dinosaur - was not was

is slightly annoying, but that's all.

So B takes it, even though I don't know all of them, and I kind of like "Bip Bop" (return of the )

This time I have to go with A. You &Me & A Dog Named Boo is a brilliant choice and if there is a song more annoying than that Cher piece of crap, well I don't want to hear it.

I must admit this is tough. Both lists offer two utterly compelling, yet strategically opposite perceptions of what is 'shit'.

I agree with Machuki that the 'one artist' technique loses it's potency beyond the initial 'shock and awe' phase, and though I'm certain that B has a higher pound-for-pound, shit/donuts ratio...I prefer the presentation of A. I'm not choosing style over substance here either, because the additions of Mammy, Deutschland Uber Alles, and the 'cartoon' cat bit more than make up for the one or two songs I might actually like here. It show real depth and a willingness to look into the abyss which I respect.

Obviously, if you're still tied to the kitchen chair and there's still more bad McCartney coming at you, it's going to be B

I hate these very much

la la la (the sweat song) - inner circle
believe - cher
butterfly - crazy town

but I like these two even more

mm mm mm mmm - crash test dummies
walk the dinosaur - was not was

As I don't care much even for the good stuff Macca recorded solo, it's obviously

B
