If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

B should've never won that quarter-final (the other contender was seriously, seriously robbed), but on the plus side, I'd vote for A as arguably the best of what's left. Mayfield, the Byrds, the Go! Team, Beastie Boys, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Go-Betweens, Darlene Love....Now that's what I call music!
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

A89 - 80B

To be honest, B loses partly through having more stuff I don't know (which receives a neutral mark), but that inevitably happens at this stage.

What separates the lists at this stage is the ability to keep the quality levels up with each addition of five new tracks. A has managed to find one or two killer tracks for each extra round.

B's made me put Them on, and made me enjoy a Van Morrison track, suppose it is at least a Bob song.

The other new ones aren't up to much and there's still that Jay-Z issue.

Pity because it's first 10 was so good.

quality wise A's not at it's best with the most recent 5, or rather they just aren't things i would chose, i can see how they fit together with the rest.

I think thats the point of A really, the list fits together and doesn't second guess anything. It all adds up to a great listening experience whereas B hits the heights but really hits the lows too

B would've won if they had put Graham Bonnet's version instead of Them's

But then again, Kate Bush destroys A

B all the way. A great list that just keeps getting better every time it's added to. (Though I do wish for more- and better- modern stuff.)
