A relies too much on power ballads, but how come B has heard so many woeful Macca songs. They really shouldn't be admitting that sort of thing in public you know so I'll go A

I don't know any of the Macca songs on B, but the compiler has made the fatal mistake of not including 'Freedom'. Inexplicable.

A is bad enough to get my vote

A is awful. B is creative (in its own maniacal way). A is just to horrid to ignore. A vote for A.

I would normally vote for 'A', though I think the list overall is too obvious.

However, and I should say that I don't know any of the songs on 'B', I can literally smell the mustardy, dust-fart of 'B's' complete awfulness, and I might have to cede the contest and withdraw my entry.

I tend to judge these lists by how tolerable listening to them would be if I was tied to a chair. I could listen to 'A', but I suspect that 'B' would force me to swallow my tongue.

I'll need time to recover and consider, but B gets my vote today.

Still don't get the issue with 'Freedom'. Certainly not a great song, and politically dumb as it is - it isn't even remotely one of McCartney's 20 worst.

I'll vote B. Those are some bad songs. The fact that a list that bad could be made without even needing "Morse Moose and the Old Grey Goose", "Ou Est Les Soleil?", "Biker Like an Icon" or "The Girl is Mine" is a heck of an indictment.

Gotta go A. Though I like the idea of an all-Paul list, I just don't know enough of those songs to know if some of them are not that bad. I know A is bad. (Though there are Billy Joel songs I hate more.)

The sad thing about B is that he (or she) could keep it up for another couple of rounds (Freedom, Temporary Secretary, Mary Had A Little Lamb, etc.)

Big Shot is probably one of Billy Joel's best songs, and how could anyone hate Informer? Licky boom boom down!

Oh yeah, fuck Paul McCartney

Jefferson Starship's a bit obvious, and is more laughably awful than painfully awful. The REO Speedwagon song's a bit of a guilty pleasure, I'm afraid... And I actually bought Bat Out Of Hell II for the second time (I think my brother appropriated my last copy) earlier this week after seeing Mr Loaf in concert last Friday. I quite like my soft rock. Mind you, the last two on A are certainly minging.

While I'd rather vote for a more varied list, I can quite imagine that B is full of real shockers. The only song I can recall hearing from it is Tug Of Peace, and that is dreadful. The fact there's no space for some of his other crimes says it all. I'm going for B.

A is really bad, but how can it compete with B.

In B we may have the champion on our hands

B is virtually all the 'Pipes of Peace' album. A dire effort from the great man. Are we voting for the best or worst list here? I'm presuming it's the worst. If so, Macca wins hands down...

EDIT: I really don't mind 'Morse Moose' or 'Ou Est Le Soleil'. Stuff and nonsense but harmless enough. 'The Girl is Mine' is a crime against all that is good and right. No words could adequately describe my loathing for 'Biker Like an Icon'... :(

ok, i was out of town for this thingie here... but it's a toughie.

A is really bad. i mean really, really bad. B is the worst of mccartney. i do so love paul, but he has put out his share of crap. i also admire B's cajones, mwhahahaha (whether they are external or internal is irrelevant). the question becomes, is the worst of macca actually worse than such offal as roboto or we built this city?

yes.

i vote for B.

and kudos to the cajones-bearing.
