My goodness, list A takes me back - I once saw Friends Again live, during my university days (this was before James Grant formed Love And Money). However, I don't recall this song. I take it it isn't a cover of the Dean Friedman number?

A actually has a very pleasant list (always good to see 'The Sweetest Girl'), but it seems a little lightweight. B has a bit more oomph to it - the presence of The Temptations, The Buzzcocks and Pigbag ensures this.

I like both lists, but B shades it.

"Ball Of Confusion"... one of my favorite songs ever... PLUS the massively underrated "Queen Bitch"...and the rest is good too.

a's trying way too hard, a bunch of second rate but critically approved acts. all that is bad about the Mojo thing

B's just very good, the boo radleys choice isn't up there with the rest of it but would still be one of the better choices for A

so B

Love the Spongetones choice - a great lost classic slice of power pop.

A by a whisker!

Pink Frost gives it to B by a nose. I now can't get it out of my head. And for that I gave you a hand.
