Fantastic Bowie, Eno, George Clinton, Leonard Cohen and a quioxitc Amy Winehouse choice means that A makes it too easy, really. Perhaps more to follow.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Plenty of good stuff on both lists. A has that irrestible Groove Armada tune and good songs from Magazine, Zombies, Clinton, Eno and Bowie which suggests that the other songs I'm not familiar with are probably good too. I don't like the slushy Elvis song though.

B has more that I'm not familiar with but the inclusion of my favourite T rex song, Funkadelic and an unexpected appearance from the brilliant Harmonia suggest that the compiler has great taste.

I would vote for either list over a great many others I expect. I'll have to go for B but kudos for A's great selection too.

A close low scoring game

A takes it 24 vs 22

Wins by having the only 5 pointer in Billie Holliday

Is it though ? That's the one track I could have predicted with 100% certainty would feature this time round. It's great of course but such a safe and obvious choice.

(I was going for Atomic Dog on my shortlist  )

Now, I like a bit of Groove Armada, but At The River is just a nothing song, so bad that I vote B
