Unsatisfied - The Replacements Like a post-coital Lambert and Butler instead of an Embassy Number One this leaves me unsatisfied
The Dark End Of The Street- James Carr Unimpeachable really, even for me
Love To Love You - Donna Summer Now I love a bit of Donna but this aint no I Feel Love and it definitely aint no Loves Unkind
They Don't Know - Kirsty MacColl They do Kirsty and they think its a bit pants really.
Victoria - The Kinks Unlikey to reign in this poll let alone for 60 years
Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve You are having a laugh, unlike old grumpy guts
Machine Gun - Jimi Hendrix If there were ever such a thing as crap Hendrix this is it
Down On The Street - The Stooges Yes!
I Say a Little Prayer - Aretha Franklin So did I Aretha and it was to never play this again
The Only Living Boy in New York - Simon & Garfunkel Sadly both are still living in NY I believe. Hunt them down and kill them, now.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Main Theme) - John Barry Nice work
The Train From Kansas City - The Shangri-Las Like my Libertines tour lighter, disposable
Take Yo' Praise - Camille Yarborough She owes everything to Norm
Sail Away - Randy Newman Remarkably you've chosen the only Newman track I like, sorry I've just noticed its Randy not Gary
Wichita Lineman - Glen Campbell Like the soup its watery, a consomme if you will
Another Girl, Another Planet - The Only Ones One of my favourite bands but so bleeding obvious I'm discounting it
For God's Sake Give More Power To The People - The Chi-Lites This is good
Utopia - Goldfrapp The League Unlimited Orchestra were so much better, although they didn't give me the horn by wearing a pony tail and swishing a riding crop
Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones If you are gonna have the Stones its got to be before all the psycedelic jiggery pokery and end of the decade portent
No Trust - The Black Keys Like it

A close run thing in my book its the majesty of Carr and the might of Iggy again versus Barry and the Chi-lites. Despite discounting the Only Ones B doesn't have the Verve

I think it's too late to vote now but if not it's B

Iwill never understand why people claim to like the embarassment that is At The Dark End Of The Street. Contrived lyric, unlikely concept and ugly structure. It's a really poor song.

I quite agree:- I'm off to the recriminate. Bitterly.
