I voted for both of these before, but A takes it despite some first class choices on B.

I really like the idea of B but, ultimately know too little of it. The fact that A's full of good stuff makes up my mind.

A is Coan's, isn't it? Oh well, I'll still vote for it.

A knocked me out, but I'm not bitter. In fact, A is very good, but is within suffocatingly narrow parameters. B is more adventurous, but I feel I don't know enough of the songs, whereas I know A is on sure ground.

Ok, it's A, then.

B
A contains the Teardrop Explodes so cannot be taken seriously. Ironically it seems the Kinks track would have been better served by the inclusion of the Fall's version. Dr John is just rubbish really, I'd almost prefer the Weller version.
Link, Slim and The Impressions win it for me.

Ha! Dig the token northern soul track at the end. Despite my reservations at such an angsty white boy punk list, A does have some killer tunes. i'm off to put on some black eyeliner.

Two very eclectic lists but B is much rootsier which suits my current mood. And Hank Snows "Im Moving On" is one of those songs that nobody ever did a bad version of.

No true Fall fan would select Touch Sensitive for his list.

But I'll give this one to A in any event, although B has a very strong list as well.

I like more on that list than any other in the competition. Except for my own.
