A, though it's not easy. Both have plenty of variety, and if anything I like the fact that B is a little more adventurous. But A nails it well - I chose it because it almost always gets the right song for each artist, whereas B oscillates between 'brilliant' and 'meh'.

Good match-up, though.

A...

"Like A Rolling Stone" Bob Dylan
"Ain't Too Proud To Beg" The Temptations
"You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" The Beatles
"Into The Mystic" Van Morrison
"Gimme Shelter" The Rolling Stones
"Crying" Roy Orbison
"Brilliant Mistake" Elvis Costello
"When Doves Cry" Prince & The Revolution
"Acadian Driftwood" The Band
"Sing A Simple Song" Sly & The Family Stone
"Ashes to Ashes" - David Bowie
"Why Won't You Stay" - American Music Club
"Respectable Street" - XTC
"The Bends" - Radiohead
"Naive Melody (This Must Be The Place)" - Talking Heads
"Can't Truss It" - Public Enemy
"Sheela-Na-Gig" - PJ Harvey
"96 Tears" - ? and The Mysterians
"Fortunate Son" - Creedence Clearwater Revival
"Soldier's Things" - Tom Waits

Jesus fuck, I thought it couldn't get any duller than Djangos' last selections but I herby officially apologise. The aural equivalent of Magic FM with apologies to PE but even that is not really a vital cut.

B....

Dance Stance - Dexy’s Midnight Runners
Whole Lot Better - The Byrds
Rock & Roll With Me - David Bowie
Cocaine - Dillinger
Pretty Vacant - The Sex Pistols
Rainy Night In Soho - The Pogues
Outdoor Miner - Wire
Stop The Rock - Apollo 440
Somebody Got Murdered - The Clash
Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
Green Onions (Live Version) - Booker T and the MGs
French Disko - Stereolab
Wild Cat - Gene Vincent
Sound Of The Suburbs - The Members
Hotel Yorba - The White Stripes
Every Little Bit Hurts - Brenda Holloway
Peter Gunn - Duane Eddy
We Gotta Get Out Of This Place - The Animals
Public Image - Public Image Limited
Into My Arms - Nick Cave

I'm still taken by the Gene inclusion on this list, however the 5 new tracks submitted have nearly ruined the whole lot. Nick freakin Cave at his most dreary and the stunningly average Duane Eddy. You'll have to do much better if you want to continue to get my vote.

Of course A is the safer bet but, jesus, how can you vote against "Gimme Shelter"?

Got to be A

Both lists have some of the strongest new additions I've seen in a while, but A takes it.

Tough one, and I certainly don't like all of it, but The Temptations and PJ Harvey swing it.

If I'm honest I would enjoy the classicist A more. I would like to commend B's choice of "French Disko" though.

Oh you have to vote really. People have died to ensure my right to vote, besides it really winds up the humourless on this board.

I'm getting very worried that a list with Apollo 440 in it is going to go all the wasy.

My least favourite 3rd round match.

B is more interesting.

BBB tough call but the live green onions does it...
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
