Brian Eno – St Elmo's Fire
Neutral Milk Hotel – Holland 1945
The Shins – New Slang
Nico – Eulogy To Lenny Bruce

Chest swells with pride, followed by a knowing nod as he realises that, true to form, he doesn't know any of them.

Well, seeming as I stumbled on the way to the final, here's what my final 5 would've been

Phoenix Foundation- Sister Risk.
Pere Ubu- 30 Seconds Over Tokyo
Patti Smith- Free Money
CCR- Green River
Boston- More than A Feeling (SBA made me do it)

Probably, it might've had something a bit newer (Phoenix Foundation aside). I migt've found room for Psalm, too.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

You peaked with your first 15 for me :D

Tough luck. New Zealand really struggles to make these World Cup finals.

:-D

To be fair it could've also been

LL Cool J- Rock the Bells
King Kapisi- Fix Amnesia
Verlaines- Joed Out
Mel and Tim- Starting All Over Again
John Coltrane- Psalm (Part IV)

Which would've meant I lost anyway.

And yes, I've gone the way of the All Blacks- see bitter recriminations thread :-D
