Not wild about either, but my vote goes to B by a whisker.

Nothing can beat any list with "Hellhound On My Trail" on it. If the other 14 tracks were the Babyshambles album it would still win.

Its gotta be A.

Two really excellent lists. Despite containing the horrible 'Hotel Yorba', I'd fuck B's brain out, then call A saying B actually meant nothing to me and I loved them, really...

Here's how i see it

It's greeaat!

The Clash Straight to Hell
French Disco - Stereolab

good

Tears for Fears Head Over heels
Babies - Pulp
OutKast Hey Ya

As for the rest, Im either a bit underwhelmed or just disinterested.

It's greeaaat!!

French Disko - Stereolab
Green Onions (Live Version) - Booker T and the MGs
Dance Stance - Dexy’s Midnight Runners
Whole Lot Better - The Byrds
Rock & Roll With Me - David Bowie

Good
Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
Cocaine - Sly & Robbie ( I assume, I only know the Dillinger version).
Pretty Vacant -The Sex Pistols

By due process I hereby elect B.[/i]

Two good lists, but I like A better. "Dead Souls" helps the cause greatly - interesting that both go for "French Disko".

A has

The Clash Straight to Hell
Lynyrd Skynyrd Sweet Home Alabama

and didn't add much to excite me from the original list.

B has:

Whole Lot Better - The Byrds
Pretty Vacant - The Sex Pistols
Somebody Got Murdered - The Clash
Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
Wild Cat - Gene Vincent

and quite possibly this is great but is it really Sly & Robbie?

Cocaine - Sly & Robbie

So B.

If they don't come thru giving me another chance would be a popular choice that most people would go along with as being the right thing to do.

a....

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions Rattlesnakes
OutKast Hey Ya
The Smiths Stop me if you think you've heard this one before
Hellhound on my trail - Robert Johnson

b....

Whole Lot Better - The Byrds
Rainy Night In Soho - The Pogues
Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
Green Onions (Live Version) - Booker T and the MGs
Wild Cat - Gene Vincent

Stereolab and Clash cancelling, I've got to go with B, with they Byrds tipping for and Joy Division tipping against.

Ugh.

B because of Hotel Yorba.

In a blatantly obvious ploy to engender my vote by sneakily including Gene Vincent I find myself voting for B despite myself.
