Nice list by A, but B is clearly superior.

When I read list A I thought to myself tha B is gonna have to be stunning to win. It has Jelltyfish and Aime Mann on it instead. The rest of B - James Yorkston, Mogwai, Stereolab, etc - is tops, but come on, Jellyfish vs Sam Cooke? No question!

A is more "classic" but in a good way.

Mah.

I only really like two tracks in A - but that's two more than I do in B.

A
So you're living in Eden where, apples are good
But every narrow miracle, takes place on Earth
Yeah, some militia have arrived and, the percussion has come
And they're pounding out messages loud on the drum

A. I like the fact it has both Sam Cooke and The Sex Pistols.
The absolute worst thing anyone could say about you is that you were a selfish, moral blank, whose lazy cynicism and sneering, ironic take on the world encapsulates everything wrong with a generation. But you my friend are not evil.

B has plenty of indie stuff which would normally appeal to me, but it's all meh indie stuff. A.

Another first round cuffing - it seems my policy of youthful exuberance is no match for seasoned campaigners from the 60's...
