Very exciting all this. Do we get oranges and pop at half time?

B. Well done, whoever you are.

List A has about 17 songs that could have easily been on my list if i was in the final. List B has a song that would never make it there (Stan) but it also has around 20-21 songs that could have been my choices.

List B has more "guilty pleasures" while A is more solid.

This is hard...

I thought i could reach a decision based on the final 5 choices but to me it's balanced.

I hope Jesus (Christ Superstar) can forgive me cause i think i'll go with B. I still have Madonna by my side though...

B it is...barely...

My vote has made it 14-14 i think!

It's neck by neck here folks!

Difficult as both have moments of brilliance but are let down by in A's case a strange attatchment to dull, workmanlike acts (Cars, Rockpile) or in B's case a descent into angst ridden indie for their last ten selections.

I've even printed both lists off the computer to find some pattern, but they're both eclectic in ways that don't make sense to me. I don't feel a natural affinity with either list. I guess I'm saying I'll come back to this.

As the reigning BCB Cup Champion, I'll be happy to pass the crown to the creator of A.

B has chosen incorrect selections by The Fall and Radiohead.

I don't see the Cars on list A. Not that it matters or anything.

No, he's bolloxed it up. Oh well, at least he hasn't voted (yet).

A for me. Let's hope the other voters actually think about what they are about as well.
And now for an update on today's Shitty Brexit News...

I'm so tempted to let that fucking stupid cars choice rule my vote

And his final choices were his weakest selection yet.

But I'll still go for B overall

I invented a random scoring system for this and it ended up a 59-59 tie.

Then I looked again, and I felt I'd marked B a bit harsher.

Probably A has one or two more peaks, but it also has a few tracks/artists I can't really be bothered with. B seems a bit more even. I'd really enjoy a lot of it.

If I had to sit down and listen to one of these lists, it would be B - so that's my vote.

Having said that, a few superior lists to either finalist were knocked out earlier, not least that nice young Mr Vigilante's.

Just spent an hour and a half analysing the tracks and somehow my post got wiped because I wasn't logged in.

Given all my hard work went astray, can we have longer to vote. I get the impression some are rushing their votes and as it's the final I think a longer time period may be in order.

I think I like more of B's list, but there are things on A's list that put it over the top for me -- the Eno track, HEARTBREAKERS, Screaming Trees, Gang of Four, Buzzcocks, Rockpile. Those things override stupid Nick Cave and the anemic Belly and Rolling Stones songs. So A.

18-17 for A, after Baron's vote.

You guys actually know most of these tracks? I have struggled with many of these duels, and wasn't able in good conscience to vote in any of them.

A (for GBV).

After my epic efforts of last night, I don't think I can be bothered to write a long post examining each list. Let's just say each list starts off well and then gets progressively worse. The early big hitters from A see it through just about.
