A.

Good selections, although the new songs didn't really do anything for me. A potential winner.

I like a lot of A's list, but the new tracks don't do much for the list.

B's subs, on the other hand, maintain he high standard.

Funny thing. I looked at both lists and immediately thought A. It's a very familiar list by now and the big, big tracks for me are ;

Hercules - Aaron Neville
That summer feeling - jonathan richman
Gravel Pit - wu-tang clan
ring the alarm - tenor saw
Work It - Missy Elliott
What does your soul look like - DJ Shadow
heatwave - Martha reeves and the vandellas

All very personal favourites. But on closer inspection B has as many favourites but more favoured tracks.

Some Velvet Morning - Lee & Nancy
Just My Imagination - the Temptations
Cherie - Suicide
People Get Ready - the Impressions
Heroes - David Bowie
Pressure Drop - Toots & the Maytals
Pale Blue Eyes - the Velvet Underground
Whole Wide World - Wreckless Eric
Nearly Lost You - Screaming Trees
Song To the Siren - This Mortal Coil
Atmosphere - Joy Division

A - Hank Williams, Shangri-Las, Heatwave ... and it's not as if it was a bad list before.

I was saying to the compiler of A last week how much I'd like to hear this and I genuinely would. It's a bit of a shame the additional tracks are so rooted in an idea of classicism, there are things beyond early soul and country. however it is still a class list.
However i've liked the variety of B from the start and it hits home with a number of winners.

Edit:Changed my mind. I think I'm being undully swayed by People Get Ready. Looking at B's additional five, they don't really do it for me baby, whilst O..I mean A has gone for Heatwave. That choice does it for me.

A
