Despite the unwelcome addition of The Smiths (who I like, but not this track) and the appalling Wedding Present and its slight air of indieness, the overall strength of the original ten sees B win through.

Edit: For some reason I thought Girlfriend In A Coma was on there, I must be getting it confused with another list. In fact I see it's Morrissey, you would have been better off with a bad Smiths track than that frankly, but my vote still stands.

Very difficult choice. in the end it came down to one list having Stan and the other having Just Like Honey.

You guessed it (or maybe not seeing some of the comments), B.

B

I had to read through both lists several times before I made my choice. It was that close.

Not convinced about the subs but the meat of A is too good to deny. Kudos to B for Just Like Honey, though, that's a sublime track.

ESPECIALLY for The Cars and Eminem. Wow 2 songs people seem to enjoy, don't put those in there.

A, just, although both get a bit tossy towards the end.
