B just about gets it, although I'm less than enthused about their additional five selections.

A was the list that knocked me out, but I'm not bitter. Actually the inclusion of "Rescue" and "See No Evil" make this list, in my eyes, a lot more attractive. Whereas B was a stronger list to begin with, but has added less stellar tracks in my eyes.

The result is therefore a lot closer than I would have thought. In a situation like this, I'm looking for the one song that will elevate a list, give it a little extra spur. Here, that song is "Cattle And Cane", and it's on B's list.

A edges it - some great stuff there in the subs. But why wank away a shout with Shaddup Your Face? Still, never underestimate the power of that thing called booze.

A, but only just. I actualy don't know that Dolce song though. I wonder if it's bad enough to make me change my vote. Nah, A it is.

It is, and no amount of remixing could possibly disguise it's awfulness. In its defence it did keep Ultravox from number one, and that is possibly why Mr A loves it so much.

Despite its inclusion I'll go for A.

Top grade lists, tough decision, blah blah blah.....

B has more variety, but A is undeniably killer.

There are selections from B which almost tempt me away from A, but the latter has really strong Pixies, REM, New Order, Dylan and Cash picks, plus a good number of other artists I enjoy very much. So it's A, then.
