Very much A, I really like a lot of the songs on it. People Get Ready can lift an otherwise mundane list into the heavens so when it's surrounded by stuff like Pressure Drop and Pale Blue Eyes ... well, it's a no-brainer really.

B for me. Quite difficult this one.
Of course, I was mostly stoned at the time.

Both have Atmosphere hich is duller than ditchwater and less tuneful. Toots wins hands down. A for me, Mrs B also agrees.

There are 5 tracks on each that could quite easily have made my list

A, but by the shortest of short heads

A

Great lists, both and Gloria Jones's Tainted Love most certainly is better than Soft Cell's.

10 all draw. I'll go for A, though. It's slightly more idiosyncratic and has the long version of Smash It Up, which is an eye-catcher. B's list is better than a lot of others I've voted for, though.

This is very tough, there are half a dozen tracks from both lists I really like and a another half a dozen I don't care for. A decision has to be made so.....

B is king of the castle, A is the dirty rascal (but only just)

No, it's not. It's not that great of a song, really. It's just the one soul song that's not by Otis, Aretha or James that everyone knows.

I vote A.

I bow to your greater knowledge.

That Gloria Jones song is a peice of shit.

What was I thinking?

I totally forgot to chose BCB approved songs and not the crap I happen to like.

When I read through list A I thought it would be simple, I loved the list so much. Then I read list B and I'm not so sure.

In fact, no. I really can't do it. Good luck to the winner and commiserations to the loser.

This is such an odd thing to say, I'm not sure how to respond!

I couldn't decide. They're both excellent lists. I'll go for B 'cause he's the underdog.
