When I look at my favourite tracks, in theory I should like Suicide - but I don't, which swings it in terms of the first 10 to B. As to the additional 5, Donna Summer and Aphex Twin cancel themselves out.

Overall therefore it's B.

I think B just edges it but it has a few tracks which cast doubt over the rest

I think against most other opposition that would have told but narrowly it still wins out

One of the few times i've disagreed with Owen interestingly, but I'm going with A. Very simply, it just has more songs I prefer. But Gloria Jones was a nice shout from B.

Looks like a list you could have written Jeff.

A for me too, although it is a close call.

B, although not by a great deal. And let's be honest, the Soft Cell version is superior.

7 to 5, so A gets it, It hurts to vote against Hey Ya and the La's, though.

I've had freak scene AND My boyfriends back on repeat over the last few days, that overcame the Floyd/manics combo but I agree that it wasn't really a list that i'd go for usually. Just those 2 songs hitting my mood

They're both really great, but A has two that made my list, while B has the Smiths.

Two similr lists, but (by a score of 7-5 - and because (much as I used to love it) I never want to hear "Hey Ya" again) it's:

A

Two pretty similar lists, with no obvious weak links in either. Tough choice, but I think A is the more rounded list.
