Tough call. Both have some great moments and some rather questionable ones. I guess A only really falters once (with the Broadcast), though R. Dean Taylor is an old cup staple. The worst of B feels a bit slight; I love that Callier's on there for instance but it's not one of his best tracks. Close but not quite.

No, you are wrong, that Callier track is ace. That Transmission thing feels too much like work, though and that's the wrong version of Dancing Mood, you need the one from Club Ska '67, but otherwise a very solid list that beats A by quite a lot for me.

It's a clear win to B, sharper and with better grooves.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

A hasn't changed much, although the LZ track is a so-so attempt to inject something more hot blooded into A's mellow textures. Generally the list still works really well for me and "Laughing" is a great track.
B seems quite narrow and rather traditional, less inclined to wade out into some of A's quirkier waters. I still like it though, unfortunately its brave choice to lead with that "Transmission" thing is a bad misfire.

A all the way.

Still digging A, probably my favourite of the quarter finalists. B is decent too, though but up against it here.

B is running out of steam a bit whilst A slithers on.

B's STILL got that absymal Sister Sledge track on it, so even if I was reasonably keen on the rest of B, I would still vote

A is I think my favourite list left and the one I will be backing all the way. Not that I'm second guessing whose list it is but R Dean Taylor = Canadian, Terry and Susan Jacks = Canadian. I suppose Joni, Neil and Lenny would be too obvious :D ANyway whoever the list belongs to

I actually enjoyed that as a piece of work when I didn't think I was going to.

I supposed it only really hits a peak when they riff on the intro to Transmission

But I liked the mix of orchestra and electronics

B still feels a little "good for you". Only the Sister Sledge and Callier really thrill me. The Fairport pick is too played-out for me, no matter how good it is.
