B is a lot of work for not much reward. Points for the Lanegan and Kuti and a few others, but A just gets to the good a lot quicker. The Holly and the Italians is an inspired pick. One us older folks remember pleasantly without it being too overplayed. Nice to be reminded of its existance.

Two of the weakest of the remaining lists, though neither is beyond salvation. I'm going to go with B just because it'll likely get beat and the other one isn't actually all that much better. Needs a serious overhaul, of course, if it does manage to get through.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

Not thrilled by either, but A for Sun Ra.

Both problematic for me, but I'm going A for the late period freakbeat of The Bubble Puppy, which was new for me. I was expecting to write something sniffy about 'obscurity for obscurity's sake' but actually it's really good.

I can't put my finger on it but B seems to embody a good deal of what I don't like about BCB.

Plenty of good stuff on A. Great list.

Underwhelming. Both have a sprinkling of goodies (Sun Ra, Odyssey, Bubble Puppy, Syreeta) but I'm not really feeling either list.

A if I must.

I really like the josh Rouse, Syreeta and Odyssey picks on B. But I like more on A.

So, despite Black "fucking" Sabbath*....

I really don't like much in either list at all. I could deliberate for a while and maybe make a choice but I don't honestly have that much time.

Abstain.

Both lists are better than they're getting credit for. A's a little more consistent.
