Very different, but very good, lists and very difficult to vote on.

B

Two good lists but the latter is a little bit deeper-cutting.

Two very good lists, and although A hews narrower, it picks the right sort of tracks for its theme- which seems to be detached, electronic music.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

I'm surprising myself by going for A. There's the feel of a checklist about B (and some very dull stuff).

A is a cold, sterile thing. It lacks breadth. It might well be the playlist at a Vulcan birthday party.

B chose 'Low Rider' to open with. :? Still, it gets my vote for being far, far, FAR more interesting.

B wants to have a good time, and moreover, has introduced me to Prince La La. Easiest choice in the cup so far.

A starts off with some stuff that is good but just fails to interest in this context, before getting kind of interesting and not very good at the same time. Like the Neu! one, but it's another Kup Kliché, and the I Break Horses was decent, but nah, it doesn't really do enough. Not sure what the hell the Cabaret number is doing there, mind!
B looked good in the first round but I'm less sure about it now. The Mobley is the only addition I'm really into, and I could still do without Hüsker Dü or 'My Girl Is Red Hot'. The Clark, Heptones and Del-Vetts efforts win the day here, though.
