A does enough in the first half to win it.

A for me, although I'm getting tired of fucking Talk Talk, which seems tokenistic to me.

This is super-tough. A tails off for me after such and engaging and raucous start, B phases its songs much better.

B is pretty good. A is a bit unimaginative.

Most of A is fine on its own but taken together it all looks a bit "meat and potatoes". The introduction of the Tempts helps nudge B over the line along with Traffic and I quite enjoyed the Goat track. The Spacemen 3 is a hideous dirge though

Neither of these lists are really for me. I love B's Temps pick and I like the Can and the Sound selections, rather than love them. The Sly track seems like an odd choice, after that I just can't get excited about much.

A picks Metal Guru which I love unconditionally- even though its not the most inspired choice coupled with the support of that Dr. Feelgood track and not having a serious liability (sorry I'm with everyone on the Spacemen track) swings this.

Looking back, that's four good matches tonight! This one ended A 15, B 21, and A was Ron Viveur.

It's sad, as these were high quality battles. Quality over quantity, I suppose (there have been good comments), but maybe I need to hype up this tournament next week...
