Two really good lists; a shame one has to go. I'm more into B but like I said, it's a bit of a shame that I have to pick one over the other.

A, be good to see it switch the Fifth Dimension for Dusty on Magic Garden if it makes it through the round.

It's all been said - hardly a duff track on either list. Any decision is arbitrary but just because I discovered that awesome Eddie Kendricks track myself last week and I'm feeling a bit smug about it, I'll go:-

A very easy one. Despite that great Harry Nilsson pick.

Good stuff but I;m gonna have to go with A, sorry B.

Kudos to both authors. B just noses it on the strength of Idris.

A for Sun Ra and Laura, which win out over Love and the Byrds.

This is the easiest for me yet. Nothing particularly wrong with B, but A is gripping me.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

This one was really close as I like just about everything on both lists. But decisions have to be made and by the closest of margins it's

In the final analysis B had the wrong Byrds track - I like it fine but it somehow misses the majesty of the best of The Byrds. The William Onyeabor and Idris Muhammed were fine if a bit generic sounding, although I love a bit of "mad as fuck" guitar and the IM had that in spades which started to sway me . In perhaps the final clincher Sun Ra saw off Wayne Shorter in a penalty shoot out

A definitely has more to my taste. Great X choice, in particular.
