I like A. A would have won most other matchups so far this round. I almost feel like voting for A because its pants are being pulled down and they don't deserve to be. But, fuck it, life is harsh and the Cup, well, she is harsher.

Goodness gracious me.

That "Mushroom Cloud" song is pretty neat!

I"ll take list B, however.

It is, and it shouldn't though coz there are some great songs on there. Why have i never heard that smokin' Tony Clarke song before?! And the Sammy Salvo was a cool discovery too. There are only a couple of tunes there that are just ok, but against B, which i love, they stand out. So with apologies to A...

A is a strong list which lets itself down with a couple of seriously dodgy selections. B not only knows what all the right moves are, it knows how to make them too.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

This is a close tie. Nice to hear the original of Red Hot, which many of us will know from the great Robert Gordon/Link Wray version. But on balance I'll vote with A (and I'll resist the knee jerk backlash against lists which include The Smiths).

Clark-Dü-Morris....that is one great trinity! The David Holmes-track is the only one I didn't dig.
A- tough titties man. Ry Cooder and The Smiths- good choices. Didn't quite hear it in Sammy and Radkey but I'm a cloth-ear after all....

I really want to support the underdog, but The Smiths convince me otherwise.

Gut reaction could make me dismiss A because of The Smiths (one of my pet hates), but since it doesn't stand a chance against B's proverbial BCB-friendliness, I've decided to give it my (pointless) vote.

It is of course also because it includes the one song that totally slew me last year, the incredible rendition of the Civil Wars' If I Didn't Know Better by Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio.

so... it's A, or rather:

Good to see some great unheralded rock'n'roll tunes making the way to the lists this years, though I'm not sure how unheralded Red Hot is.

I really like this list.

Well I reckon I know who A is (the Radkey was the giveaway) That didn't do much for me alas but I can get with the Smiths and Box Tops, plus although B almost had me at one point I ended up being annoyed by the cynical hipster chic of the Oceans Twelve soundtrack choice Close but
