Why would I want to make a rival list stronger?!

You take it too seriously and as a result it diminishes your BCB victory. Better to stroll to the title like I did not giving a fuck. ;)

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

You only won because I had both Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Corona in my list.

Can one change more than five, all ten in fact?
It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

Why? Why not? Sounds kinda arbitrary.

you can change up to five a round, so in theory you can have changed all ten by the third. Personally, I think the same list should carry on through.

Good evening. You may notice that there are only two ties posted tonight. The reason for this is that I'm still awaiting a number of lists. I've chased, and just sent an e-mail setting a deadline of tomorrow night. Not that I should ever need to do this...

Anyway, I do have one more tie which I'll post tomorrow night. However, as things stand, if you haven't seen your list yet there's a good chance you'll have a bye into the second round by default.

Unless I'm mistaken, 27 matches means 54 entrants, meaning 10 no shows. C'mon people.

Well, I have just had a promise of a list tonight, so it looks like there will be at least two lists for you to vote on tomorrow night...

Actually no, there are five no shows - in each case the other half in the tie has submitted a list!

I think we're way too far into the competition to still be asking for lists. It's one thing to allow late entries after the first day or two, quite another when we're nearly two weeks into it. It is surely beyond doubt that they will have an ample advantage in seeing which tracks are doing well (or not so well..they won't be picking Baby Huey!). It would devalue the whole competition.

I feel quite strongly that all five should now be considered losing lists and their places taken by the best losers from the first round. It would leave a very bad taste in the mouth if lists were still allowed to be entered at this stage and I'm not sure I'd want to continue.
