Indeed. If someone's daft enough to reinstate a song then let it be on their own head. No need for another rule banning it.

I believe it was stated before the start. Besides which it's the first year of the new format so there's bound to be the odd confusion. Is it too much to ask to just give Masked Man a break and go with what he says?

I'm making the call that songs, once removed, cannot be reinstated.

From the first round of matches, only around 3/4 of entrants are actually voting. Extremely poor show.

is the 48-hour turnaround standard – because if it is, can we have some shorter songs?

Aye.

The percentage of people making any kind of comment on individual picks has gone down, too.

Yeah, well you don't want to tip your hand, do you?

"Vote for B cos it's the best list ever!!"

Some comments do give the game away. I've always found Penks a bit of a giveaway

People are getting tactical. Too much commenting can influence which, if any songs, get replaced in subsequent lists.

I think comments can sway ties. Occasionally a track will get picked on again and again and I'm sure it can have an impact on some voters.

Why would I want to make a rival list stronger?!

That's because the only time he's ever effusive is when his own list appears.
