Two strong lists. Both of them well-chosen and -mixed. Such a shame that they had to be drawn against one another. Ultimately I think A is closer to my own taste, although oddly enough it's the Beefheart of the new three that I liked most, rather than the Swell Maps (not my favourite from them) or the generic Franklin.

Well, several of you have gone into raptures about a track by the simpering twats of Cock-eyed Rabble, and no has mentioned at all that the same list has also added The Greatest Single Ever Made (albeit in a youTube that fails to capture its true majesty) to the only ddo-wop left in the competition and a great Laura Nyro track. S/he could add on Bowie B-sides, Bjork, Sigur Ros, Hey Jude, Mull of Kintyre, late period Stevie Wonder, Steamy Window and I will still vote for it.
