A

You can't get away with Freak Scene in the Cup! Both that and cursory Erik B/Tribe called Quest song should result in immediate defeat.

The selections on B are fine but not really pushing the BCB envelope. A is equally fine but has more to it and gets my nod, reasonably easily.

I like them both about the same but am voting for A because as others have said: 'Freak Scene'? Seriously?

I wonder if any song has been used more frequently in the Cup. It's not even much cop.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

I'm voting

B

BECAUSE of 'Freak Scene' because it's the best and most infectious blast of youthful punk energy that was ever put out

It'll be interesting to see if this "Freak Scene" chooser is the one behind the list with "Use Me" on it. If so I fear we may all be the victims of a BCB satirical attack so heartless it makes ISIS look like the Sally Army.

So cruel :(

It really isn't. It's like this sappy student idea of punk.

You couldn't be more wrong. There's nothing sappy about it at all.

I get that it's 'overused' in these Cups, but denying its incredible joie de vivre is just silly.

Neige's vote came just after the 24-hour deadline but fortunately it didn't matter.

A 16-15 B

B was purgatory brite.

A has already sent me three new songs, so round three is good to go tonight.

You couldn't have a narrower defeat than that.
Tough luck mate.
