I don't like B's last three at all. Someone volunteered a little too long at their campus radio station in the 80s.

B is the kind of list where I can appreciate where the person is coming from, it just isn't the same place as me. I'm not an enormous fan of A either but would prefer to listen to it.

On its own terms it's not a bad track at all, but as a Northern Soul pick it would be more likely to fill the car park than the dance floor, I suspect. Maybe we should have a Northern Soul cup. Anyway

A

but by now both lists have too much dodgy stuff in them to get much further.

Last 2 links on B are the same Replacements track, btw (I suspect I'm one of the few still listening all the way though...)

I like B's Cramps pick, but I hate that Replacements song. On the other hand, A's Billy Nichols choice is superb.

A but I must say that I'm still a fan of Alex Chilton. The anti-Replacements sentiment is unseemly.

A 29-5 B

Ouch...

B was Ray K, who probably wishes he'd gone out in round one like he originally did.

A, please send me three new songs by 20:00 GMT tomorrow.

Ouch.... feel like the AV kid brought to the prom by the head cheerleader merely to be publicly mocked.
