Lucky losers, qualifiers and round 2

Postby PENK » 01 Feb 2015, 09:14

56 people signed up for the BCB Cup this year.
One withdrew and was replaced by Chris P Bacon.
Two - Matty Red Sox and Patty O'Furniture - failed to send in a list.
26 winners went through to the second round, joined by both contestants from the drawn match 12.
That means we have four "lucky losers" who also go through. Those names are:
no one in particular
Harvey K-Tel
Ray K
Chris P Bacon

The four of them need to send me three new songs as soon as possible, if they haven't already done so.
Round 2 will start sometime after 20:00 GMT tonight.

I'm all for transparency in The Cup, but is that cool with these contestants, as well?

Bit of a special circumstance this time around.

Not bothered - I'm going out anyway.
We won by not being you. Perhaps even the greatest of prizes.

Well their names were already known following their initial eliminations. None of them have complained. And anyway, if they don't like it they can always accept defeat...

One contestant has not sent a list for the second round, but I have PM'ed a reminder. If it's not in soon I might have to give that person's opponent a bye...

Jolly decent of you squire, but I've already dined and he's a gristly bugger by the look of him.
Better luck next time, eh?

Apologies. I was traveling with family, and I couldn't get my list to post correctly (kept getting weird messages that it wouldn't send - or I couldn't get into the site at all). It may have been the hotel, or what not...

Good luck to the winners!
Hard luck for those who lost.
