A for the McDonagh track and for not having Alice Cooper.

Needs a listen off for me. I'll play them both through and through and vote later.

The first half of B and the second half of A would be one of the best lists yet. Both falter severely in a few spots.

I'll have to give this one some thought.

Gosh, A, I guess. The Shelagh McDonald track is great, and that's one of my favorite Shins songs, and the Nits and HC are at least amusing.

B does have Alice, Betty Wright and a great Ian Dury track, but both have a few real head-scratchers. With the whole history of music available to you, you picked...that???

Whichever of these continue is really gonna have to up their game to get another vote from me.

I like bits of both, but B's Varner track gets its nose in front.

A very tough one. But losing that Dury track would be a waste  .

Both are patchy but both have stuff I really like - had to think about this for a wee while after checking out some of the links. I'm going with A as the good Roxy, Eels and Shins picks outweigh the terrible Metronomy song, and its better than B overall.

On paper, I thought I'd be voting A here, but it turns out (despite the relatively weak Spoon pick), that B is the better listen. Go figure.
