Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I went to school with one of Codeine Velvet Club. I really liked the Railroad Jerk song.

That Cashier No.9 song is fucking monumental.

And apart from Stevie bastard Wonder, it doesn't put a foot wrong after that.

Can't split them on a cursory run-through. No time and little inclination to go again. Abstain

Wow, A wins the 'most wildly inconsistent' award!

Love the Cashier No. 9 (what can I say? I have a weakness for kettle drums). Hate the Cale/Neuwirth (though of course they've both done great stuff separately). Curiously underwhelmed by the Stevie (how'd they find such an underwhelming track from such a great period?) Loved the Gene Clark (of course). Found the Sly/Robbie track annoying (I usually like their stuff). Overall good, but I look for a bit more consistency in later rounds if it continues.

B has its moments - the Lou Rawls is particularly great - but it's just too much of a certain kind of BCB tone - indicative of who I think is responsible for it. I think I have a one or two song limit for that kind of thing.

B. No Sinatra please. Unless it's Sid singing it, and then okay.

Enjoyed both. Goldstar is a good tune, cheers A, and always good to see Nathaniel Mayer. But in general i think i'd play B more often.

I've always held off on the wonderful "Girl Anachronism" thinking it'd be hated here but its slipping by unnoticed. Maybe it would've stood out more on my list

A clear A for me, even if the Stevie track is terrible (maybe a merit to find such a poor song in Stevie's 70s catalog)

Really enjoyed most of both lists. Hard to chose. Hate to vote against that wonderful Timbuk 3 song but I feel Frank and Stevie need defending against the cloth-eared brigade. Great choices. Not a bad track on "Music Of My Mind" and Sinatra/Jenkins is always a great combo.
