never/ever's vote came in late and had no bearing on the result anyway.

A 13-22 B

A was Ted Maul which means that the brand new BCB Cup Champion is fange!

FANGE!!!!

Way to go, man! Delighted for your victory. I knew you had it in you!

Yeah, but it didn't have Sabatoge on it.

Congratulations, anyway.

Excellent list, fange. Would've been happy to vote for it myself if hadn't been against mine. No bitter recriminations here but some thoughts to follow on Comments thread.

Nice one fangeybaby, not a bad succession.

Tremendous lineage

2016 fange
2015 gash
2014 sgt p
2013 Machuki
2011 G The Mod

(2012 was an aberrant throwback to BCB's pub rock/Q Magazine/Campaign for Real Rock roots and has been stricken from the records, as has anything before 2011).

It begs the question, with all of the great music on the winning lists proving popular with the BCB voting public why is YY such a graveyard?

Cheers to fange and to Penk for the organizing. I didn't have much to say during the voting, but I liked the winning list right from the start.

Stalinism meets Sky Sports. :(

Well done, Fange - a most splendid list. Hard luck, C - it pained me to vote against you.

I'm not sure.

There is this feeling that everything has been 'talked out', which I think is bollocks. And I think people are afraid to start threads for some reason. There are more spectators here than on any other board I know.

A few years ago, there were over 100 players scrambling for a spot. This year, well.....

Well done, Ange, and you never even had to bribe me with beer as I had no idea what list was yours but somehow got my vote anyway by the closest of margins :)

Bad luck Geoff. I enjoyed most of your picks and there's a few I'd like to follow up on (Gil Scott Heron and David Holmes are two off the top of my head) so thanks for introducing me to new stuff.
