Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

I love the three additions to B and it was already one of my favourite lists in the whole darn shooting match. A has improved its overall quality with its additions but falls far short of it's opponent. Quite a convincing

Hmm, an old friend from another music board just recommended Courtney Barnett. Flavor of the month? I hate the singer for Superchunk even more than the singer for Galaxie 500, and anyway list B's new tracks are better.

Close thing, this one.

On balance, it's an A

The last two selections in A are the same link.

This is the one I have to spend some time thinking about, but I thought I'd bring it up right away so it can be corrected. I'll be back...

EDIT: A doesn't need the Bat For Lashes to be wonderful in order to get my vote.

Both have good moments, both peter out in spots. One just has a slightly better flow.

I think we know the answer to that. :x Too many no-listen mofos, that's how.

Really enjoying both these, well done guys/girls.
It is so great to see Superchunk in A, and there's a couple of personal faves like 'Sorry' which I love. But I think B is a bit stronger overall, and if it's a battle between the last songs Madge would take it for me.

To be fair tho, maybe they knew the song and didn't need to.

I'm liking both but A just squeezes it on the back of its recent additions.

I'm afraid the Easybeats just can't hold up A on their own anymore.

A is an unholy mess. Credit for its anything-goes attitude but I think B is a nice list overall.

I can't vote for either of these. List A was the worst list in the competition, but has upped it's game a teeny bit. List B was a bland list, and hasn't rectified that in any way (though the Barbara Acklin was ok, if BCB-porn, I guess).

Abstinence.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I liked that Madonna tune much more than I anticipated but Elevator Operator has had me grinning for months now.
