that was the worst of your selections mate.

Otherwise, another year and another vindication that the cup trawls a narrow and socially acceptable presentation.

20 of you are now dead to me, cloth eared cunts with no appreciation outside of the accepted norm.

See you all next year in which I will be taking the bleep manifesto to heart.

Anyone who starts their list with as obsequiously acceptable a song as I'll Take You There should tone it down a notch.

Make up your fcking useless minds, people! And Penk, thanks for organising all this, but what the fck did I ever do to you? What have you got against me? Is it cuz I'm Swedish? Since when is "all over the place" a bad thing? "Kitchen sink"? I think half the votes against me were because spineless BCBers wanted to toe your line.

EVERY SINGLE FCKING YEAR i win the first round and go out in the second round. It's driving me insane. This list, and last year's list which dared to have two blues-ish songs in it and was therefore dismissed as a "history lesson for old people", are by some distance the two best lists that have graced this god forsaken competition, but yet again BCB shows itself to just to be unable to break free from its narrow-minded swamp of predictability. I should fcking know better, I know that by now. It shouldn't hurt as much as it does, I know that, I know that. You people are fcking impossible. "Ham-fisted...perhaps a more modern rendition than Caruso"? Are you fcking kidding me? Bringing some Caruso and Smetana into the equation made the "quality control go awol"? It's cynical?!

I'll throw the kitchen sink in your collective, ugly faces.

Only one BR worthy of the name, so far. Although at least dgs and Jeemo played the "cloth eared twats/cunts" card, which gains them credit. Hoping for more vituperation soon.

Does it? Seems pretty time-worn / trite to me.

I'm feeling pretty bitter right now. I'll let it build some more first.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Christine - I like her. Clearly I'm the only one here who gets it. I think she's very talented - performance artist, songwriter, arranger, singer, dancer, etc. I'm quite baffled as to the animosity she drew, altho I probably knew in my heart it was risky.

.....I was trying to bring something new and 'fresh' to the Cup, hopefully without it being considered 'obscure for its own sake' as many are accused of here. Evidently, Christine is too far off the beaten path, or was found annoying, or I don't know what the hell. Comments welcome. I've learned my lesson re trying to class-up the Cup. :x

The Small Faces - I don't understand why this song wasn't bigger in the UK. I think it's brilliant. I don't give a flying rat's arse what Coan says!

I know what my mistake was in Round 3. Total misread on my part. I'll own that.

Geoff Woade can suck it! One minute he's saying my list is one of his very favorites, then he turns on me like a rabid dog. WTF?

Headscratchers, Hatz? What's so head-scratching about the New Colony Six tune? It's beautiful, and that wistful piano at the end (not that anyone got that far) can bring me to tears. Gorgeously plaintive. Scratch THIS!

Meh, I've lost my momentum. Should've written earlier.

Thanx to whoda. Sniff

That's more like it! All I said was the list had lost momentum but I'm pleased to see such a step up in the bitter recrimination stakes. The Cup needs more of this!

For me, it was the specific clip - the live performance - that you chose. Maybe a studio version would have been more persuasive.

I was thinking the opposite.

I like her moves. Her art. That's part of it, even tho the Music is what ultimately counts, yeah.

Nah. I think her visual performance enhances. More dynamic. I know I'm alone. And like Darkness_Fish, I'm fine with that.
