Rome is the Eternal City.

London, Rome, Istanbul, Paris in that order.
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".

San Francisco is an amazing place, I agree.

I loved Prague & Barcelona too.

I went for Nice. Despite daily traffic jams, it's a treat all round. Juan Les Pins and Antibes, as well as Monte Carlo just around the corner. The Mediterranée. Need I say more?

On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.

I think every one of those cities would be great tourist destinations. I haven't been to them (only three of them in fact) all but would certainly love to. I'm not voting until I have.

I have been to all of them except HK and Rio.

Sydney is another great place to go, and Singapore, and Cape Town.

San Francisco would be my second choice for American destination, also LA/Hollywood and New Orleans, for the Jazz & Heritage festival in the summer.

I'd like to visit Chicago and Memphis too. Lubbock, Texas, so many historical places.

All I know about Nice is what I saw in the french short À Propos de Nice, by the great Jean Vigo. I fell in love with that place through that film.

Given how bloody over-run we get with tourists every feckin' summer and winter, I reckon Edinburgh must be up there somewhere...

(It's a great place but for the locals...)
