Black Cat Bone

The main centre of Munich around Marienplatz is not really that big, and if i am frank not really that interesting. Sure there are a couple of big churches and a clock that does something interesting if you are there at the right time, but it is not some twee medieval old town (I mean there are elements of that, it is not a prime example).

I gather the BMW factory tour and the Allianz Arena tour are actually both pretty good.

also the Starnbergersee is not far away - you can get there by train, i think - for a hike in the country.
