anyone been? which is the best sound of music tour?

I have been. Didn't do much while there, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The salt mines are the local attraction, and it's pretty interesting in a boring scientific way. The local rock music venue is the Rock House!
I have a friend who IS totally into the Sound of Music vibe aspect. If you're serious, I can try to get a write-up from him.

We will do an som tour - little dude is into it. We will also do the Mozart stuff, and visit the castle.

SoM tour, Hellbrunn palace/trick fountains, untersberg cable car, catacombs, castle, nonnberg Abbey church, festival houses tour, panorama, nature museum and toy museum, Mozart birthplace, Mozart residence. Also just wandered about.
