My Russian student Anna is moving to London with her husband in a month, and they're looking for reasonably-priced accommodation for a year, maybe less. They're not especially well-off, so a place within the city limits is obviously not an option.
Anyone know of any websites that could help? I've done a search but there are shitloads and I'm not sure which are reliable. Thanks.

Just tell them to do what everyone else does and look on websites, papers etc. There's no such thing as cheap accommodation in London.

they could try to flatshare. It's probably the cheapest option they're gonna get. http://www.spareroom.co.uk/ is the one I have used so far and it's pretty good.
