None of us managed to get Krona before we went. Nobody seemed to have any so we just used ATM machines and credit cards. Icelanders don't use cash much, it's all plastic over there.

We went last October. You don't need cash. Everything but everything is done by card.

We loved it but it is bloody cold, hence the name.

We hired a car, driving was easy but some roads just turn into gravel in the middle of nowhere.

You need to plan your trip and get up early as distances between sights can be vAst and the days can be short (or Long depending on the time of year) and you can't drive too fast.

Take a camera.

An old friend was there a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful country.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

To see how beautiful Iceland is, join the Facebook group: Iceland The Photographer's Paradise. It's my favourite Facebook group.
