I'm off to Granada
in a week and a half. I am looking forward to it - I have wanted to visit the Alhambra for a long time.
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".

I lived there two years ago. Full of hippies.
Get yerself up to the Albaycin and onwards to the caves in Sacromonte for some flamenco puro.

Make sure you don't get short-changed on the free tapas. They give the most generous portions in Spain - but if you're a tourist they might try to fob you off with a few olives or crisps, or a couple of cubes of empanada gallega.

I'm surprised nobody's picked up on the issue that Granada was broadcast out of Manchester yet the Alhambra's in Bradford.
