Both.

Pot of coffee every morning. Cup of tea as soon as I get home of an evening.

I'm a coffee man. Buy beans, use a cafetiere. Milk no sugar.

I do drink tea, but can manage without it. Recently I've been having a late night herbal tea (instead of a late night scotch).
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".

Coffee.

Like Sloop, I don't really care about what coffee I drink, I just want it strong and black, and neither flavored (french vanilla? Ewwww) nor made from instant crystals.

If given the choice, I drink a coffee/chicory mix, which cuts back on the caffeine and adds an extra delicious bitterness to the cup. :) But like I said, I'll drink pretty much any old coffee.

I have one cup of regular, store-bought coffee done in a french press every morning after I walk the dog. I'll occasionally have a second cup around 11:30am or so if I've been working.

I used to drink a lot of tea and coffee...mostly tea.

I became caffeine intolerant about 10 years ago and avoid anything with caffeine in these days, even Coke.

I don't miss it to be honest, apart from a mug of tea with a fry-up. I drink either hot chocolate or decaf these days.

I reckon you could get into it. Try a proper cappuccino one of these days. There's nothing quite like it.

Coffee.

But not much - I'm quite sensitive to a lot of drugs, and if I have more than one large cup in the morning, I get irritable. And you'd have to scrape me off the ceiling.

I like hot tea, but even tho I have a strong stomach, something about it makes me queasy. If I could drink it with milk that might not happen, but I prefer it plain or with lemon. I do love iced tea, with sugar and lemon. I wish I could get into the habit of drinking decaf green tea like Shawn - it's so good for you, they say.

I'm with the girls on the coffee breath thing - I always attributed to the milk/cream, but maybe it's [also] the coffee itself?

For years I always heard caffeine kills vitamins in your system, so I was glad I can't tolerate much of it. But lately I'm hearing quite the opposite - that caffeine actually has good properties, and one article I read made it sound like it can do almost anything but cure cancer. WTF? Coffee's a health drink now?

And what's with those people who can drink coffee right up til bedtime, and then pass out, no problem? How do they do that? If I have a coffee at dinnertime, I'm up all nite for sure.

I drink my tea without milk or sugar and I love it, but a strong cup of tea on an empty stomach can leave me feeling really sick almost instantaneously.

Nothing has that "Aaaaaahhhhh" factor like though. It hits the spot like nothing else.

Coffee is one of the honeys of the gods, after sambuca, stout and pepsi max. I've cut down to one cup in the morning. I shouldn't be drinking that, but i can't resist. I love coffee me.

I need a coffee in the morning as well, it's an absolute must. Actually I need one right now!

I like tea too, black with lemon and sugar, like my Jewish grandma used to make.

I like both just fine, but I tend to drink coffee more often. I'm pretty fussy about tea, I prefer Earl Grey far ahead of other varieties. I'll drink Bell or Dilmah or whatever if that's all there is on offer, however.
Also, I can easily have three cups of tea in a row.

With coffee, I'm not fussy. I'm ok with instant coffee and will use it if I can't be fucked using a plunger or percolator. But it is nice to have plunger or perc coffee, too. Unlike tea, I'll sometimes have two cups of coffee in a row, but never a third.

In the mean-time, some music:

"U2 routinely spent a year in the studio...I have a theory: if you put four monkeys in the studio for a year with Lanois and Eno and Lillywhite, they would make a pretty good record, too."

I have one of those Bosch Tassimo one-cup deals, which works out perfectly for me. It also does tea and hot chocolate.
